🌿 WEEK 24 — LETTING PEACE SET THE PACE

From Awareness to Gentle Yielding

In Week 23, we became aware of what governs us when life happens.
Week 24 builds on that awareness, but it does so quietly, nothing new is being added.

This week is not about obeying peace, following peace perfectly, or making better decisions.
It is about something much simpler and deeper:

Learning to stay with peace long enough for yielding to happen naturally.

Yielding is not something you force.
It happens when control relaxes and that relaxation begins by staying with peace. Peace is a place.

Throughout the week, you’ll notice peace in ordinary moments:

  • while standing at the sink
  • while making small decisions
  • while feeling pressure or urgency
  • while slowing down or waiting

Often, the work of this week happens before action, before clarity, and before answers.

You may notice how quickly you move away from peace, or how easily urgency or control steps in.

There’s nothing to fix or resolve.
Just stay where God’s peace is present and notice what happens.

Move gently through this week.
There are no right responses.
Awareness itself is the fruit.

🕊️ DAY 29 — STAYING WITH PEACE

Focus: Trust • Slowing • Inner Permission

Prompt
Notice where you feel even a small sense of peace.

Scene:

I was standing at the sink when I noticed it.

Nothing changed around me, but inside, my pace softened.
My breath slowed.
There was a quiet sense of peace, small, but present.

Almost immediately, I felt the pull to move on.
To finish.
To re-enter planning and doing.

Instead of responding, I stayed.

I didn’t interpret the moment.
I didn’t act on it.
I simply remained with the peace for a few seconds longer than usual.

And in that staying, I noticed how quickly I usually move on.

  • Choose one that you experienced and write: Staying made me feel…
  • Calm
    • Settled
    • Still
    • Unfamiliar
    • Safe
    • Neutral
    • Slower
    • Grounded
  • Choose one that you experienced and write in the chat: I wanted to…
  • Move on quickly
    • Speed up
    • Start planning
    • Check my phone
    • Interpret the moment
    • Stay busy
    • Regain control
    • Fill the silence

(No explanation needed. One word is enough.)

🕊️ DAY 30 — PEACE WITHOUT CLARITY

Focus: Trust • Uncertainty • Yielding Control

Prompt
Notice peace that does not come with a clear answer.

Scene:

I was sitting with a decision when I noticed it.

Nothing had been resolved.
No direction had formed.
The situation was still open.

And yet, there was peace.

Not confidence.
Not certainty.
Just a quiet easing inside me present even without an answer.

Almost immediately, I felt the urge to resolve it.
To think it through.
To reach for clarity or reassurance.

Instead of trying to decide, I paused.

I didn’t search for meaning.
I didn’t push for understanding.
I allowed the lack of clarity to remain.

And in that pause, the situation remained unresolved.

What was it like for you to let the situation remain unresolved?

🕊️ Choose one word and post it:

  • Calm
    • Quiet
    • Clear
  • Uncomfortable
    • Tense
    • Awkward
  • Neutral
    • Open

(One word only. No explanation needed.)

🕊️ DAY 31 — PEACE INTERRUPTED BY URGENCY

Focus: Pace • Pressure • Awareness

Prompt
Notice what competes with peace

Scene:

I was in the middle of something when it happened.

Nothing was wrong.
Nothing was on fire.
But time felt tight, and the pressure to move increased.

Underneath the activity, peace was still there.
Quiet.
Steady.
Unhurried.

Almost immediately, urgency pushed forward.
The need to respond.
To act quickly.
To keep things moving.

For a moment, both were present at the same time.

Instead of choosing immediately, I paused.

I didn’t correct the urgency.
I didn’t force myself to slow down.
I simply noticed what was trying to lead.

And in that pause, the pace became clearer.

What had more presence in you when both peace and urgency were felt? Write in the chat

🕊️ Peace or
⏱️ Urgency

(No explanation needed.)

🕊️ DAY 32 — NEGOTIATING WITH PEACE

Focus: Self-Management • Trust • Surrender

Prompt
Notice peace that feels impractical or inconvenient.

Scene:

I noticed peace at a moment when it didn’t seem practical.

Nothing had changed externally.
Responsibilities were still there.
The timing still felt inconvenient.

And yet, peace was present.

Almost immediately, my mind began to negotiate.
This isn’t the right time.
I’ll deal with this later.
I need to be realistic.

The peace didn’t argue back.
It didn’t push.
It simply remained available.

Today, instead of reasoning with it, I acknowledged it.

I didn’t act on the peace.
I didn’t dismiss it either.
I let it be there without negotiation.

And in that moment, I noticed the urge to negotiate.

Post one icon only to reflect what you noticed in yourself as you sat with this.

🗣️ — A thought tried to negotiate
🕊️ — Peace was simply acknowledged

(No explanation needed.)

🕊️ DAY 33 — PEACE IN SMALL DECISIONS

Focus: Authority of Peace • Everyday Yielding

Prompt
Notice peace in something small: timing, tone, response.

Scene:

I noticed peace around something small.

Nothing important was at stake.
No big decision.
Just a moment involving timing, tone, or how to respond.

Peace wasn’t pointing me toward what to do.
The choice itself stayed the same.

But the pace shifted.

The way I was about to speak softened.
The timing slowed.
The response felt less rushed.

Instead of changing the decision, peace adjusted how I moved within it.

I didn’t make it spiritual.
I didn’t pause to evaluate it.
I simply let the pace be set differently.

And in that small adjustment, the moment felt settled.

Respond

Post one word or short phrase to reflect where peace adjusted how you moved:

  • Timing
    • Tone
    • Speed
    • Response
    • Silence
    • Waiting

(No explanation needed.)

🕊️ DAY 34 — WHEN PEACE SLOWS YOU DOWN

Focus: Rest • Trust • Safety

Prompt
Notice where peace asks you to slow rather than act.

Scene:

I noticed peace when I was about to move forward.

Nothing was wrong.
Nothing was delayed by force.
I simply felt a gentle slowing.

Peace didn’t stop me.
It didn’t redirect me.
It just reduced the speed.

Almost immediately, resistance surfaced.
The sense that slowing meant falling behind.
The thought that rest might be irresponsible.

For a moment, urgency and peace were both present.

Instead of pushing past the slowing, I stayed with it.

I didn’t justify the pause.
I didn’t label it wisdom or fear.
I allowed the slower pace without explaining it.

And in that staying, the moment felt safer than expected.

Respond

Choose one word or short phrase and post:

What resistance surfaced in you:
• Guilt
• Restlessness
• Fear of delay
• Pressure
• Discomfort
• None

What helped you stay:
• Pausing
• Breathing
• Doing nothing
• Letting time pass
• Remembering I’m not rushed

(No explanation needed.)

🕊️ DAY 35 — PEACE AS GOVERNANCE

Focus: Leadership • Sonship • Rested Authority

Prompt
Reflect on the week.

As I looked back over the week, nothing dramatic stood out.

There wasn’t a moment of arrival.
No clear line where everything changed.

But the pace felt different.

Peace wasn’t something I had to look for as often.
It felt closer.
More familiar.
Less fragile.

I noticed that I didn’t rush as quickly.
I didn’t manage every moment the same way.
Some decisions carried less weight than before.

Not because I had answers,  but because peace was allowed to lead more often.

There was less effort in staying with peace.
Less tension around slowing.
More ease in letting moments unfold.

And in that quiet shift, leadership felt lighter than usual.

Respond

Post one word or short phrase to reflect what shifted in your pace this week:

  • Slower
    • More settled
    • Less rushed
    • More aware
    • Still uneven
    • Softer
    • No clear change

(No explanation needed.)

🌿 WEEK 24 CLOSING

This week was not about obeying peace.
It was about trusting it enough to stay.

God’s peace does not rush us forward.
It teaches us how to walk.

Holy Spirit,
I release the need to hurry past You.
I choose to let Your peace set my pace.
Amen.
