Shammah’s Mission:
Our mission is to compassionately embrace and uplift individuals with the word and the Spirit of God in their moments of sickness, brokenness, frustration, confusion, abuse, anxiety, fear, stress, and discipling those yearning for a deeper connection with God. Our aim is to guide them from their current circumstances to a transformative journey, leading them to a destination of healing, wholeness, and fulfillment in Jesus Christ.”
Our Core Values:
We Value God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Scriptures and People.
We value people by cherishing the intrinsic worth of every individual, recognizing and appreciating their unique qualities, contributions, and perspectives. Our dedication to valuing people is evident in our efforts to cultivate an environment characterized by loving as God requires, having genuine regard for the well-being and dignity of every person we encounter. This commitment drives us to uphold the following core values:
Trustworthiness:
We prioritize building trust and credibility through unwavering integrity. This involves maintaining consistency between our beliefs, words, and actions. We promote honesty, openness, and keeping promises, staying true to family, friends, God, and SHAMMAH.
Respect:
We respect everyone’s values and treat them as we want to be treated. We act with kindness, politeness, and a dedication to peace. We promote tolerance, showing love even when we disagree on behavior or views. We avoid being rude, offensive, judgmental, or abusive in our words and actions.
Responsibility:
We take responsibility for what we say and do. This means keeping our promises, controlling ourselves, and always endeavoring to do better. We plan ahead, set a good example, and show self-reliance, sensitivity, proactivity, persistence, and hard work.
Fairness:
We show our commitment to fairness by being consistent, open, and treating everyone equally. Our decisions are based on God’s revealed truth, results/facts, without favoritism, and we consider all perspectives. We support taking turns, sharing, being open-minded, following rules, avoiding careless accusations, and not taking advantage of others. We actively seek justice and condemn injustice.
Caring:
We embody kindness and compassion, letting others know that we genuinely care. We express gratitude, practice charity, and extend forgiveness to others.
