Week 12: Promises to Those Who Have Faith

Day 75: Faith That Moves Mountains

📖 Scripture:

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
— Mark 11:22-24

🔍 Focus:

Faith is not just believing in God’s existence but trusting in His power and confidently speaking His promises. Jesus teaches that unwavering faith can move mountains, demonstrating God’s power.

📖 Reflection:

Jesus’ words emphasise the power of faith when combined with prayer. This passage reveals key principles:

Faith must be anchored in God.
Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” Our faith is not in our ability but in God’s sovereignty and faithfulness (Hebrews 11:6).

Faith speaks to obstacles.
Mountains represent challenges and barriers. Instead of fearing them, Jesus tells us to speak to them in faith, commanding them to move (2 Corinthians 4:13).

Faith does not entertain doubt.
Doubt weakens faith. When we pray, we must fully trust God’s power to fulfil His promises (James 1:6-7).

Faith believes before seeing.
Jesus teaches us to believe we have already received what we ask for in prayer. This requires confidence in God’s Word over our circumstances (Romans 4:20-21).

Faith is the key to seeing the impossible become possible. When we pray with unwavering belief, we align ourselves with God’s supernatural power.

🔎 Reflection Questions:

🔹Are you speaking faith or doubt over your life?

🔹What is one “mountain” in your life that you need to command to move?

🔹How can you deepen your trust in God’s promises today?

🙏 Prayer:

Precious Father, I put my trust in You so that I will not doubt Your promises. Teach me to speak words of faith and to stand firm on Your Word. I believe that You can do exceedingly above all I ask or think. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🗣️ Confession:

I have faith in God, and I do not doubt. I boldly speak to the mountains in my life, knowing that nothing is impossible with God. I believe, and I receive His promises.

⚡ Challenge:

Identify a specific situation where you need a breakthrough. Speak God’s Word over it daily, declaring His promises with faith and without doubt.

📌 Takeaway:

Faith moves mountains. We activate God’s promises when we pray, believe, and refuse to doubt.

Day 76: Trusting God’s Timing

📖 Scripture:
“To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1

🔍 Focus:
Trusting God’s timing means believing He is in control and His plans are always best. Even when we don’t understand delays, God works behind the scenes for our good.

💭 Reflection:
Life often presents seasons of waiting, and it can be challenging to trust God’s timing. However, Scripture teaches us key principles about waiting on the Lord:

God’s timing is perfect. He sees the beginning and the end, orchestrating events for our good (Romans 8:28).
✅ Waiting on God strengthens us. Delays are not denials; they are opportunities to grow in faith and endurance (Isaiah 40:31).
✅ Impatience leads to poor decisions. Acting outside of God’s timing can bring unnecessary struggles (Genesis 16:1-2).
✅ Trust requires surrender. We must release control and trust that God knows what is best for us (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Faith in God includes faith in His timing. Even when things seem delayed, He is never late.

🔎 Reflection Questions:
🔹Do you struggle with impatience when waiting on God?
🔹What is an area in your life where you need to trust His timing?
🔹How can you develop patience and faith in God’s plan?

🙏 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to trust Your perfect timing. Teach me to wait with faith, knowing that You always work for my good. Strengthen my heart so I do not grow weary but stand firm in Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🗣️ Confession:
I trust in God’s perfect timing. I will not be anxious or impatient, but I will wait with faith, knowing He is working all things for my good.

⚡ Challenge:
Identify an area where you are struggling with waiting on God. Surrender it to Him in prayer and choose to trust His timing.

📌 Takeaway:
God’s timing is always perfect. Trust Him, even when you don’t understand the wait.

Day 77: The Power of Believing

📖 Scripture:
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’”
— Mark 9:23

🔍 Focus:
Believing in God’s promises unlocks the supernatural. Jesus teaches that faith removes limitations and makes the impossible possible.

💭 Reflection:
The power of believing is essential in walking by faith. In Mark 9:23, Jesus tells us everything becomes possible when we believe. This verse reveals key truths:

Faith is the key to breakthroughs. Miracles happen when we take God at His Word (Hebrews 11:1).
Believing is a choice. Even when circumstances seem impossible, we must choose faith over doubt (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Unbelief hinders results. Jesus performed fewer miracles where there was unbelief (Matthew 13:58).
Faith must be persistent. We must hold on to God’s promises, even when answers seem delayed (Hebrews 10:23).

We align with God’s power when we believe, allowing Him to work mightily in our lives.

🔎 Reflection Questions:
🔹To what extent do you fully believe God’s promises, or do you struggle with doubt?
🔹What is one area where you need to exercise stronger faith?
🔹How can you guard your heart against unbelief?
