Abiding β’ Settling β’ Resting β’ Remaining
π WEEK 45 OPENING
Last week, we learned that not everything deserves agreement.
A thought may appear.
Fear may arise.
Pressure may seek influence.
An old reaction may present itself.
But we discovered:
π Presence is not permission.
π Awareness does not require agreement.
Now we take another step.
Once agreement is withdrawn from what disturbs peace, something becomes possible:
π We can learn to remain where life and peace are found.
Many people know how to leave fear.
Many people know how to reject a troubling thought.
Fewer know how to remain settled afterward.
Yet remaining is where maturity grows.
π “To be spiritually minded is life and peace.” β Romans 8:6
Life and peace are not merely places we visit.
They are places we learn to remain.
πΏ TRANSFORMATION AIM
This week is about noticing:
- what helps us remain settled
- what helps us remain connected
- what helps us remain aware of God’s presence
- what helps us remain in life and peace
We are not learning how to fight.
We are learning how to remain.

πΏ WEEK 45 CLOSING
This week was not about striving.
It was not about controlling your thoughts.
It was not about trying harder.
It was about learning to remain.
You noticed what helps you settle.
You noticed what nourishes peace.
You noticed what strengthens awareness of God’s presence.
You noticed what helps you remain connected.
And perhaps you discovered something important:
π Peace grows where we remain.
π “To be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
Life and peace are not merely experiences.
They are places we learn to live.
π Closing Prayer
Holy Spirit,
Thank You for teaching me where life and peace are found.
Teach me to remain in what is true.
Teach me to remain aware of Your presence.
Teach me to remain settled in Your faithfulness.
Let life and peace increasingly govern my heart and mind.
I remain in You.
I remain in truth.
I remain in peace.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
