🎙️ Knowing God — The Greatest Pursuit of a Lifetime

🕕 Segment 1: Opening

Right where you are, just lift your hands.
Your room has become a sanctuary.
You’re not in a building — but in His presence.

The Spirit of the Lord is saying tonight, My people, you know that I love you. You are my beloved. But are you still so busy with a life that does not satisfy but is barren of Me?
How well do you know me? Do you know more about my works than my ways?

Beloved, this is Heaven’s cry in this season—
Return to knowing Me as I strip you of those inner scripts that have clouded your vision of Me.

The Greatest Thing In All My Life Is Knowing You Song Lyrics Video – Divine Hymns

🔥 Introduction

It’s possible to serve God and still not know Him.
It’s possible to preach about Him and yet never perceive Him.
It’s possible to do ministry for years,
and still be strangers to His presence.

Do you know when He shows up? Do you know what He is doing when he shows up?

Paul said in Philippians 3:10, ‘That I may know Him…’ — not that I may impress Him,
not that I may work for Him,
but that I may know Him.
That cry must become ours again.

Segment 2: What does it mean to know Him?

  • Hebrew – yadaʿ: experiential, covenantal, relational knowledge (not mere facts). Used for intimate relationship (Gen 4:1), covenant loyalty (Jer 9:23–24), and obedient trust (Hos 6:3; Ex 33:13).
  • Greek – ginōskō / epiginōskō: to know by personal experience; epiginōskō intensifies—“to know fully/accurately” (Jn 17:3; Phil 3:8–10; Col 1:9–10; 2 Pet 1:2–3).

Summary: Biblically, to “know God” = to enter covenant relationship with Him, walk in obedient love, and grow in lived experience of His character.

To grow in lived experience of His character, you must know His character and how that character is manifested in real life;

💬Declaration: ‘Lord, awaken me to know You!’

🌿 Segment 3: The Divine Priority

SCRIPTURE: John 17:3 – “This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God…”

Eternal life is not only about going to Heaven — it begins now.
It is the daily life of intimacy.
You can measure how well you know God
by how quickly you return to peace after trouble.

Declaration: ‘I want to know Him!’

🕊️ Segment 4: The Three Dimensions of Knowing God

  1. Informational Knowledge — Knowing about God.
“Many stop here. They know doctrine, not devotion.
The Pharisees knew Scripture, but they missed the Living Word.”
  2. Relational Knowledge — Knowing God personally.
“This is Moses crying, ‘Show me Your ways that I may know You.’
It’s David saying, ‘One thing have I desired.’
It’s Mary at His feet while others perform.”
  3. Transformational Knowledge — Knowing God through obedience.
“When what you know becomes who you are.
You start carrying His nature, His love, His power.”

Pray: ‘Lord, take me from knowing about You to knowing You!’

⚠️ Segment 5: Prophetic Warning

 When intimacy fades, imitation begins.

  • Samson had power without presence.
  • Saul had position without obedience.
  • The sons of Sceva had vocabulary without relationship.

Gifting without knowing leads to collapse.
Anointing without intimacy is a ticking clock.

Prophetic word:
“The Spirit of the Lord says:
‘I am calling My Church from performance back to presence!’”

“Right now, lift your hands and say‘Lord, draw me deeper in the secret place!’

🌹 Segment 6: The Invitation — Return to the Secret Place

SCRIPTURES:

  • Exodus 33:13–18 (Moses’ cry)
  • Psalm 27:4 (David’s desire)
  • Luke 10:38–42 (Mary & Martha)

Moses said, ‘If Your presence doesn’t go with us, don’t send us.’
David said, ‘Your face, Lord, will I seek.’
God is raising seekers, not stage performers.

When was the last time your heart burned just to be with Him?
When tears fell not out of pain, but because of His nearness?

Declaration: ‘I’m going deeper into the secret place.’

💎 Segment 7: The Manifestation — What Happens When You Know God

When you know God — love is manifested, strength and stability are restored, peace is multiplied, discernment is sharpened, transformation is evident, authority, truth and fruit flow naturally.

DECLARATION: Lord, make knowing You my priority!

🕯️ Segment 8: Activation — Five S’s of Intimacy

1. SEEK – Jeremiah 29:13
“Schedule God like you do your meetings.”

  1. SIT – Psalm 46:10
“Stillness is the womb of revelation.”
  2. STUDY – 2 Timothy 2:15
“Scripture is the mirror where we meet His face.”
  3. SURRENDER – Romans 12:1–2
    “Surrender keeps revelation pure.”
  4. STAY – John 15:4
“Don’t just visit His presence — live there.”

💬Declare aloud: ‘I’m building an altar that never goes cold!’

⚡ Segment 9: Prophetic Declaration — The Hour of Reintroduction

God is reintroducing Himself to His people.

“You knew Me as Provider, as a father of love; now you’ll know Me as Presence.
You knew Me as Promise-Keeper; now you’ll know Me  as Consuming Fire.”

God is

Removing distractions so He can reveal dimensions.
Stripping titles to restore tenderness.
Dismantling idols so He can dwell in intimacy.”

💬Lift your voice and say, ‘Reveal Yourself to me again, Lord!’

🙏 Segment 10: Corporate Prayer & Confession (6 mins)

Let’s pray together.

Father, forgive us for substituting activity for intimacy.
Forgive us for knowing Your works and not Your ways.
We return to You wholeheartedly.
Rekindle our hunger, refine our motives,
and restore our love for Your Presence.

In Jesus’ name we pray

CONFESSION (repeat line by line):

Lord, I don’t just want to know about You.
I want to know You.
Reveal Your heart to me more and more.
Teach me Your ways.
Let my life be proof that I walk with You.”

🌅 Segment 11: Takeaway & Benediction

When you know God, you will stand when others bow.
You will trust when others tremble.
You will love when others withdraw.
Because you’ve encountered the One who never fails.

DECLARATION:

Lord, I will seek You early.
I will seek You daily.
I will seek You until knowing You becomes my greatest joy.

Precious saints
May you hunger until you’re filled.
May you seek until you find.
And may the fragrance of His presence mark you everywhere you go.
The greatest thing in all your life… is still knowing Him.

💭 Segment 11A: Reflection & Activation Questions

Before we close, take a few quiet moments to reflect.
It’s not enough to be stirred — we must be changed.
Let these questions search your heart.

🔹 1. What do I truly pursue most right now — God Himself, or what I hope He’ll do for me? Is he enough for me?

Jeremiah 9:23–24 reminds us: ‘Let not the wise boast of their wisdom… but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they understand and know Me.’
Pause. Let the Holy Spirit show you where your pursuits have shifted.

🔹 2. Do I know God’s voice — or do I only recognize His vocabulary?

Have I settled for knowing His words but not His ways? (Psalm 103:7)
Ask the Lord to renew your sensitivity to His whisper — that His voice becomes your compass again.

🔹 3. Where have I replaced intimacy with activity?

Examine your rhythm: am I serving out of overflow or exhaustion?
Pray: “Lord, teach me to serve from fellowship, not performance.”

🔹 4. How does God want to reintroduce Himself to me in this season?

Maybe you’ve known Him as Provider, but now He wants to show Himself as your Peace.
Maybe you’ve known Him as Promise-Keeper, but now He wants to reveal Himself as Father.
Ask: “Lord, what new facet of Your nature are You unveiling to me?”

🔹 5. What will I change this week to prioritize knowing Him?

Choose one daily rhythm — Seek, Sit, Study, Surrender, or Stay.
Write it down. Share it in the chat if you feel led. Let accountability build momentum.

🔹 6. Who in my life reflects the nature of God I long to know more deeply?

1 Corinthians 11:1 — “Follow me as I follow Christ.”
Sometimes God reveals Himself through godly examples. Ask Him to highlight one person whose walk draws you closer to Him.

🔹 7. How will I guard the flame of intimacy after this meeting?

Psalm 63:8 — “My soul follows hard after You.”
Plan for intentional follow-up: journaling, early morning prayer, or a weekly “face-to-face” time with the Lord.

💬 Prompt: Type one phrase that captures what God is saying to your heart right now.

Beloved, these are not just questions — they are invitations.
Every question is a doorway into deeper fellowship with God.
He’s not just asking you to answer — He’s asking you to return.
