A Heart Transition
Today marked an important transition for Shammah.
Not a program transition.
Not simply a new calendar year.
But a heart transition.
In 2025, we focused deeply on self-leadership.
We learned to recognize what rises in us:
- When we are tired
- When we are triggered
- When we are corrected
- When we are under pressure
We learned awareness.
We learned governance.
We learned how to be led by the Spirit rather than driven by emotion.
But self-leadership was preparation — not the destination.
It was foundation — not elevation.
As we step into 2026, the question shifts:
Not, “Can you manage yourself?”
But, “Can God trust your heart with His people?”
Refined Hearts, Not Just Gifted Hands
The Lord does not entrust people to gifted hands alone.
He entrusts them to refined hearts.
Shammah is not simply growing in structure.
We are coming into establishment.
Establishment means being anchored, strengthened, and made steady enough to carry what God is building.
Scripture reminds us:
What God establishes, He protects.
What He protects, He purifies.
What He purifies, He strengthens.
In this season, the Lord is gently searching motives —
not to expose us publicly,
but to align us internally.
Titles may be given.
But weight must be grown.
Weight is the capacity to carry responsibility without wounding the people entrusted to you.
Anyone can enforce order.
But shepherding souls requires maturity.
Anyone can correct behavior.
But restoring dignity requires tenderness.
Shammah will not be sustained by strong personalities.
It will be sustained by shepherd hearts.
A Scriptural Reminder
In Ezekiel 34, the Lord addressed shepherds who led harshly and declared:
“I Myself will search for My sheep.”
This passage reminds us that leadership without tenderness grieves the heart of God.
Today was not about who holds position.
It was about who is becoming.
Some are already leading.
Some are still forming.
The heart requirement is the same for all.
1 Samuel 16:7
“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
He looks — not to condemn — but to consecrate.
A Word for 2026
As we move forward:
Irritation cannot be renamed discernment.
Control cannot be disguised as order.
Fear cannot be excused as wisdom.
Harshness cannot be defended as strength.
Silence cannot be called peace if it hides avoidance.
The Lord is refining not just what we do — but how we carry people.
Because people are not assignments.
They are souls.
And souls require stewardship, not management.
The Example of Jesus
When Jesus saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion.
Not frustration.
Not fatigue.
Not superiority.
Compassion.
He did not react from ego.
He responded from mercy.
That is the heart Heaven is forming in us:
Not softness — but holy tenderness.
Not passivity — but redemptive strength.
Prayer of Consecration
Holy Spirit, remove from me any heart posture that cannot carry Your people.
Remove:
- The need to defend myself
- The fear of losing influence
- The pressure to prove myself
- Hidden comparison
- Subtle competition
- Ego masked as efficiency
- Excuses that avoid responsibility
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
In 2026, shepherd hearts will sustain what God is establishing.
This is not evaluation.
It is alignment.
It is consecration.
It is recalibration.
God will not increase responsibility without increasing capacity.
If we cooperate with His refining work,
He will entrust us with more — for His name’s sake.
Interactive Reflection
Before discussing influence, we turned inward.
Because what rises first often reveals what governs us.
This reflection was not about judgment.
It was about awareness.
And awareness is not failure.
It is growth.
Closing Challenge
Entrusted With Greater Influence
We stand at a threshold.
The question that follows us into 2026 is:
In what areas is God currently refining your heart so He can entrust you with greater influence?
Not more visibility.
Not more recognition.
But greater influence.
Influence that:
- Shapes people
- Stabilizes atmospheres
- Carries weight without crushing others
Refinement is not punishment.
It is preparation.
God refines to increase capacity.
Capacity is the inner depth that allows you to carry outer increase without collapsing or corrupting.
The Challenge for 2026
Do not pray first for expansion.
Pray for spiritual refinement.
Do not ask first for more responsibility.
Ask for deeper capacity.
When I say, “Do not ask first for more responsibility,”
I am not discouraging growth.
I am redirecting your priority.
Growth without depth is exposure.
Increase without capacity is strain.
Before you ask God to enlarge your platform,
ask Him to enlarge your heart.
Before you ask for more people to lead,
ask for greater patience to carry them.
Before you ask for more visibility,
ask for deeper humility.
Before you ask for more influence,
ask for stronger inner stability.
Because influence does not create character —
it reveals it.
Influence amplifies whatever is already inside you.
Capacity is what allows increase to bless you,
rather than expose you.
So do not pursue influence.
Pursue integrity of heart.
When the heart is ready,
God does not hesitate to entrust.
Final Scripture
📖 Malachi 3:3 (NKJV)
“He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver…”
May the Refiner sit over our hearts until what remains reflects Him.
Prophetic Send-Off
Go, and let the refinement you embrace in private become the trust God releases over you in public.
Build the depth now that will sustain the influence later.

Theme:
Becoming the Kind of Heart God Can Trust With People
📖 Session Focus
This session is not about position.
It is about posture.
It is not about titles.
It is about heart formation.
As we transition from 2025’s emphasis on self-leadership into 2026’s season of establishment, we are asking:
Can God trust my heart with His people?
