Personal Responsibilities for 2026

Living From a Place of Establishment

An Invitation Into Deeper Fellowship

As we step into 2026, I want to say this simply and lovingly:

God is not asking you to do more.
He is inviting you to walk closer.

Many of you have been faithful.
You prayed.
You served.
You showed up—even when it was hard.
And God sees that.

But the Holy Spirit is gently reminding us of something important:

When we stay busy for God without staying close to God,
our walk slowly turns into religion.

Religion says, “Try harder.”
Relationship says, “Come closer.”

In 2026, the Holy Spirit is calling us back to relationship
where obedience flows from love, not pressure;
where discipline flows from desire, not fear.

WHAT YOU MAY NOTICE IN 2026

You may notice this year that God:

  • interrupts some routines
  • slows certain things down
  • asks us to listen more
  • cares more about our hearts than how things look

This is not God taking something away.
This is God helping us grow up.

It’s like a child learning to walk with a parent—
not being pulled along,
but learning to stay close.

And when you walk daily with the Holy Spirit, you will notice:

  • peace replacing pressure
  • clarity replacing confusion
  • strength replacing striving
  • fruit replacing frustration

My prayer for you this year is not that you do more—
but that you abide deeper.

Your Responsibility

In 2026, every member is not being asked to do more, prove more, or start over.
Each member is invited to live from what God has already done.

This is what personal responsibility looks like for us this year.

1. Live From What God Has Already Settled

Your responsibility in 2026 is to stop questioning what God has already made clear.

  • If God has settled your identity, you don’t keep doubting it.
  • If God has settled your place, you don’t keep wondering if you belong.
  • If God has settled your calling, you don’t keep hesitating in fear.

We live from settled truth, not repeated questions.

👉 This brings peace, confidence, and stability.

2. Do Not Reopen What God Has Already Healed

In 2026, members are responsible to guard healed areas.

  • You do not keep reopening old wounds.
  • You do not keep revisiting forgiven mistakes.
  • You do not keep returning to cycles God already broke.

Healing is honored by moving forward, not by reliving the past.

👉 This protects your peace and keeps you free.

3. Walk in What God Has Already Shown You

God has already spoken to many of you.
In 2026, your responsibility is not to wait for something new—but to walk in what you already know.

  • Obey what God has already said.
  • Practice what He has already shown you.
  • Apply what you already understand.

Light grows brighter when you walk in it.

👉 This leads to steady spiritual growth.

4. Walk Daily With the Holy Spirit

Your greatest responsibility this year is daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

This means:

  • taking time to listen
  • paying attention to His nudges
  • responding quickly to conviction
  • depending on Him, not yourself

You don’t need long prayers—just an open heart.

👉 Daily walking keeps you aligned without pressure.

5. Choose Obedience Over Emotion

In 2026, members are responsible to obey even when feelings fluctuate.

  • We don’t obey only when we feel strong.
  • We don’t stop when emotions change.
  • We don’t follow moods—we follow the Spirit.

Obedience from relationship brings stability.

👉 This keeps us consistent and mature.

6. Accept Order as Protection, Not Control

Members are responsible to honor godly order.

  • Boundaries are for safety.
  • Correction is for growth.
  • Accountability is for protection.

Order helps us stay healthy and strong together.

👉 Order allows the ministry to remain peaceful and fruitful.

7. Bear Fruit by Staying Close to God

In 2026, fruit is not forced—it is expected because we are close to God.

Fruit looks like:

  • changed attitudes
  • growing maturity
  • faithfulness
  • peace
  • love for others

Fruit grows naturally when roots stay connected.

👉 This is how lives are transformed.

8. Take Responsibility for Your Own Spiritual Growth

This year, each member is responsible for:

  • guarding their heart
  • managing their emotions
  • staying spiritually alert
  • choosing growth

We walk together, but no one else can walk for you.

👉 This leads to spiritual adulthood.

The Goal for Every Member in 2026

The goal is simple and clear:

To live steadily, peacefully, and fruitfully from what God has already settled, through daily relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Not striving.
Not restarting.
Not proving.

Living from establishment.

Spoken Declarations

In the mighty name of Jesus:

  • I live from what God has already settled.
  • I do not reopen what God has already healed.
  • I walk in what God has already shown me.
  • I walk daily with the Holy Spirit.
  • I choose obedience over emotion.
  • I honor order as God’s protection.
  • I bear fruit as I stay close to God.
  • I am established, steady, and at peace.

I am not striving.
I am abiding.
I am living from establishment.
And I walk forward led by the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reflection:

“Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to highlight one area where He is inviting you into deeper fellowship—not to do more, but to walk closer.”

Examples of Areas the Holy Spirit May Highlight

“As you sit quietly before the Lord, the Holy Spirit may be inviting you to walk closer with Him in one of these areas…”

1. Your Quiet Time With God

Not to read more chapters or pray longer prayers,
but to be more present when you do—
less rushing, less multitasking, more listening.

2. Rest and Pace

He may be inviting you to slow down—
to rest without guilt,
to stop proving your devotion through exhaustion,
and to trust that God is still working even when you pause.

3. Trusting Him in a Specific Area

It may be in your finances, your health, your family, or your future—
where God is asking you to release control
and walk closer through trust, not anxiety.

4. Letting Go of Striving

The Holy Spirit may be pointing to areas where you feel pressure to perform—
to please people, to prove yourself, or to keep everything together—
and inviting you to abide instead of strive.

5. Obedience in a Small, Quiet Thing

Not a big public assignment,
but a simple nudge—
a conversation to have,
a habit to change,
or something to lay down that no one else sees.

6. Healing an Area You Keep Reopening

He may be inviting you to stop revisiting what He has already healed—
old wounds, past failures, former seasons—
and to walk forward from the place of settlement, not survival.

7. Listening Before Acting

God may be asking you to pause before making decisions—
to pray before responding,
to wait before moving,
and to let peace confirm the direction.

8. Relational Alignment

The Holy Spirit may be highlighting how you relate to others—
where you need to soften, forgive, speak truth gently,
or withdraw from unhealthy dynamics in obedience to Him.

9. Surrendering Control

There may be something you’ve been holding tightly—
trying to manage, fix, or force—
and God is inviting you to walk closer by letting go.

10. Simply Being With Him

For some, the invitation is simply this:
“Come and sit with Me.”
No agenda.
No performance.
Just presence.

Closing

“Whatever the Holy Spirit has highlighted—receive it without pressure.
He is not calling you to do more.
He is inviting you to walk closer.”
